Having grown up on a small family farm in the Sierra Foothills, Terry's interest in the outdoors and land has always played a big role in his life. After working and studying a few years in the veterinary field, an offer to join The Chickering Company was an opportunity he decided was too good to pass up. Licensed as a real estate agent since 1991, and broker since 2001, Terry specializes in unique ranch, lake, and river properties throughout the West. When not pursuing projects for his clients, Terry spends his free time with his wife and two children. Other interests include biking, fly-fishing, and skiing.

A graduate of The Thacher School ('60) and Stanford University (A.B.,'64), Nick Chickering began his real estate career in 1965 as a mortgage appraiser for Coldwell Banker and Aetna Life Insurance Company. Following a number of years working as an officer in smaller corporations, Nick returned to real estate in 1978, specializing in brokering the purchase and sale of small businesses. Finding that his clients wanted to purchase unique ranch properties, he founded The Chickering Company in 1982, where, with Terry Hundemer, the two have established the signature ranch brokerage in California for discriminating buyers seeking to purchase the best the West has to offer. Nick is semi-retired and living in Montana.

Charlie Engs

Charlie Engs grew up in Reno, Nv. where he began hunting and fishing with his mother and father in Nevada and Northern California. A graduate of The Cate School (88) and Univ. Of California at Berkeley (92), Charlie joined The Chickering Company in 2011. Prior to his real estate career he worked in the family business selling and financing Peterbilt trucks. Charlie specializes in duck clubs, deer camps, and fishing properties throughout the West.  He is a partner and president of Honcut Creek Ranch and president of Ramirez Water District.
